Now Black strikes what at first look like a decisive blow.

Now both 4.Kd1 & 4.Rc2 is not possible in view of the immediate mates that follows. Time for white to resort to desperate measures then.

5.    Rd3 !!

It’s difficult see this pin working as Black can capture the e2 pawn with a check rendering the Rook helpless.
